Glass Polish Compound, 2.5oz

This is a fine powdered abrasive used in the final polishing step of telescope lens making. 

Mix with a little water to the consistency of peanut butter and polish glass imperfections out with a felt tool. Keep a spray water bottle handy to keep the polish from drying out as you work.  A variation on the mixture is 2.5oz diluted in a quart spray bottle which avoids the paste and water bottle combination. 

The imperfection must not be so deep that you can catch a nail in it. 

Tools can range from a "bob", a felt cylinder mounted on a 1/4" shaft for use in a drill, to felt pads for use on your buffer/polisher.  The pads attached via velcro.
